Pour ma part, j'utilise navigant que je trouve tres complet, mais lorsque tomtom sera dispo pour iPad je pense que je me laisserais tenter principalement si l'option tomtom live est accessible...

Ah bah moi qui est Tom-Tom sur iPhone et qui utilise pas mal mon iPad en voiture ( je suis passagé) ça va être bien mieux.

Moi qui utilise déjà Tomtom avec mon i phone, j'attends ça avec impatience. On y verra bien mieux !

Puisqu'il faut soit être en wifi à la maison (pas pratique en déplacement), soit en 3G (et ça coute bonbon) pour que le service de localisation fonctionne, l'utilité d'un GPS sur iPad semble limitée...

L'iPad 2 & 1 en modèle 3G on une puce GPS intégrée donc pas besoin de connexion au réseau cellulaire.

Actuellement avec Navigon Europe sur iPad 2 3G, attaché en velcro dans la voiture.

C'est juste ... au poil.

bonjour juste pour rappeler que l appli ne fonctionne pas si vous n avez pas un ipad 3g ! pour ma part j utilise navigon et c est quand meme un peu trop grand jn ecran ipad ! a moins de conduire un camion !
navigon a l info traffic et le systeme de relief ! c est mieux que tomtom !!!

Moi je l utilise la version Europe sur l iphone4 il fonctionne très bien!
Faudra t il payer une 2ème fois, pour l avoir sur l iPad?

En effet pour la voiture a priori l'écran de ipad ce sera mieux que le petit écran de l'iPhone. Reste le problème du support. mon iPhone est certe petit mais bien placé. L'ipad vous le mettez ou, et le faites tenir comment ???

Le tomtom live sera disponible sur l'ipad , reste à savoir si l'abonnement hd traffic et/ou radar pourra être utilisé sur l'Iphone et l'Ipad en même temps.
Seul problème l'ipad est plus imposant pour être placé sur le pare-brise

@Laurent C'est bien ce que j'ai marqué! Seuls les 3G peuvent l'utiliser, ce qui doit restreindre le nombre d'utilisateurs. Les autres doivent se contenter d'utiliser le GPS pour se retrouver dans la maison ;)
Je sais bien que ce n'est pas la faute du développeur cependant!

Ce qui m'interpelle, étant possesseur d'un IPad 2 3G avec une limite de dowload de 1 GO, c'est si je mets TomTom sur mon IPad 2, vais je à la fin du mois avoir encore des mégas de dispo ? (en prenant en considération, sauf erreur de ma part, que ma carte Sim ira chercher les mises a jour de l'info trafic toutes les 3 mn)
Sans parler, si je fais la même manip avec Icoyote.
Avec mon IPhone 4, il ni a pas de limite de download a part qu'a partir de 500 MO la connexion vas moins vite.

J'ai Navigon depuis longtemps sur mon iPhone. Mais je ne l'ai pas laissé sur l'iPad, après l'avoir essayé. Pour la bonne et simple raison que je n'ai pas un iPad 3G, mais wifi donc pas de puce GPS!

je l'ai utilisé cet été sur mon ipad 2 3g , la version iphone fonctionne bien avec retinapad .... l interet de cette version est pour ceux qui n'ont pas retinapad en gros ...
