Je suis vraiment ravi de voir vlc porté sur l'ipad ! Si vraiment ça marche, je pense que ça pourrait m'en faire acheter un ! Mais je me pose quelques question sur la validité sur l'app store. Car en si il lit la plupart des formats vidéos, il va inciter les gens à ne pas acheter de vidéos sur itunes, donc apple va pas aimer donc est-ce que Apple ne refuserait-il pas cette appli ?

En théorie, cela devrait passer puisque deux applis similaires (au moins, citées dans le billet) proposent la lecture de formats vidéos autres que ceux d'Apple.

Ca ne change rien !
C'est pas parceque tu utilises le lecteur natif que tu dois acheter tes vidéos.
Tu prends tes divx pompés sur le web, tu les réencode en mp4 via un soft gratuit du genre easy video converter, et tu les regardes tranquillement sur ton iPhone / iPad.

Apple n'a jamais empeché la lecture de contenus "douteux". Tu peux lire tes MP3 downloadés, tes vidéos si convertis en MP4 et maintenant tes ebooks ou magazines recuperés en pdf;
